Firmex Data Room Q&A
Q&A is a highly effective due diligence tool that enables anyone who has access to your VDR to ask questions and get answers. It enhances communication and decreases the amount of effort across multiple meetings. It ensures that both parties to the deal are clear about the scope of the deal and the terms and conditions and what they can expect.
The Q&A feature is installed in Firmex and can be enabled when creating an entirely new Data Room or editing an existing one. When Q&A is activated, a tab called Question is visible in the Data Room. Click the Question button on the data room interface to ask a question. A pop-up window will be displayed and allow you to Data Room Q&A enter the title of your question, provide more detail, and hyperlink to one reference document. Then, you can save the question as a draft (if you are a Question Author) or send it to the Answer Side (if you are a Question Coordinator).
When the Q&A process is in motion, all participants will be notified when the question they posed has been answered by selecting an icon on their screen. Then, they can view the response, or reopen the question for more information. The Q&A tool can be used to conduct due diligence on M&A as well as RFP/RFI procurement procedures. It is adaptable and customizable to your needs.
